What does a trial involve?
A trial is a personal consultation in the comfort of your own home. At this time we will discuss colours, styles of makeup, and details of your wedding such as your dress, colour theme, bridesmaid, flower choices and photographer arrival times. You will then have your makeup styled which will be discussed as we progress through to finish. A trial is highly recommended about 6-8 weeks before your event.
When can I book?
Trials are generally conducted on Thursday and Friday evenings at 6pm or on Saturday from 2pm onwards.
Other days and times are available upon request.
How long will it take?
Allow up to 1.5 hours for your trial and up to 1 hour for your final booking although this usually takes 45 minutes.
What do I need at my consultation?
Any pictures of styles that interest you. If you don’t have any pictures then your ideas will be discussed with your Artist at your trial.
Will you come to me or I come to you?
A fully mobile makeup service is offered for your convenience and comfort.

Do you charge an extra fee for travelling expenses or public holidays?
Standard pricing is inclusive of a mobile makeup service to any suburb within a 20km radius of the Perth CBD. For all other areas an additional fee is payable based on travel time and distance. Please call Alana to discuss your requirements. Public holidays incur a surcharge of 10%.
Why do I need a trial?
A trial is vital as it allows you to meet with your makeup artist and discuss styles, ideas and the overall theme for your wedding. It is important that you are happy with the makeup look that is created for you and that this is achieved through a relaxed approach at your trial. It is also important to see how your skin reacts with makeup as not all products work the same way for every skin type. By having a trial you will be 100% confident on your day that you are going to achieve the look that you desire.
How soon before the wedding should I book a trial?
Trials should be booked as soon as possible so you can secure your makeup booking for your event. It is not unusual to take bookings one (1) year in advance so you should schedule your trial at your earliest convenience. Please be aware that final bookings are not secure until a booking fee is paid.
Should my make-up be done after my hair is styled?
It is ideal to have your makeup done after your hair is styled.
How can I secure my makeup booking in your diary?
Secure bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of an $85 booking fee. All bookings remain tentative until your booking fee has been paid. Most clients prefer to pay this booking fee at their trial to secure the booking for their event. The final balance can be paid on the day of your final booking or at any time prior to your event via cash or EFT.
What if I decide to cancel my booking?
Cancellations must be advised in writing as soon as possible. Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable or transferable in the event of a cancellation.
