Cleanse, Moisturise and Prime

There is only a certain amount of responsibility that rests with the makeup artist regarding the client’s skin condition. The makeup artist’s duty is primarily to prepare the face with the skin care practices of cleansing, moisturising and priming.

A makeup artist is unable to cater for each individual’s skin care and moisturising requirements therefore it is recommended that before your appointment you cleanse, tone and moisturise using your own products as part of your personal skincare regime. However if you prefer your skin can be prepared by your Artist using elementary products.

Hygiene

A high standard of hygiene is imperative when applying makeup. It is important to clean makeup brushes after each use and use disposable makeup applicators such as wands and sponges. Elite makeup understands the importance of good hygiene.
